UTILIZATION OF SPACE
- In many cities with tall buildings, even though land is scarce and expensive, the roof is often left bare and not used. Urban farming on roofs and open spaces can make use of these spaces.

- Need- Provide healthy and fresh environment.
- Insight-Healthy and fresh environment helps people to maintain good health and lead a peaceful life. It helps in reducing the chances of diseases and illness.

Value Proposition
- Urban Redevelopment: Unused lands and wastelands can be used for cultivation purposes. It creates more green space and reduces pollution. Areas with community gardens and urban farms also increase property value.
- Health and Wellness: Urban farming creates fresh produce closer to where it’s ultimately consumed. Food from urban farms is far more likely to be perfectly ripe, more nutritious, and produced in season.
- Less Food Waste: People produce only what they need. This reduces food wastage to a large extent.
- Low Investment: Urban farming requires less space, and initial infrastructure and setup costs. The installation cost is very low when compared to traditional farming.
- Water Conversation: The usage of methods like hydroponics, aquaponics etc. allow them to use less water
About The App
- Urban farming tech (UFT) is a free mobile application. This app is available to the customers in two ways.
- In First way , the app provides guidance of growing the plants at home and give suitable suggestions about the type of plants that can be grown based upon the place suitability and it supplies the required materials like seeds , organic pesticides etc.
- In second way , it is suitable for the people living in apartments and those who don’t have place to grow plants but want to have organic fruits and vegetables so for them it supplies the fruits and vegetables at a reasonable rates.
- It provides support to farmers as the urban farming tech purchases the fruits and vegetables directly from the farmers. UFT acts as a connector between farmers and the customers.
